Last year, Ebay Kleinanzeigen used a campaign by Berlin-based creative agency The Goodwins to promote a new buyer protection option. Now a new feature has been added for sellers on the platform: In a humorous campaign, the online classifieds market presents a new shipping function that is so user-friendly that things seem to “ship themselves.”
Once again, the campaign comes from lead agency The Goodwins. In the 20-second spot, among other things, a pair of jeans that has come to life walks toward the shipping box to “ship itself.” The functionality of the new option is somewhat exaggerated here. Nevertheless, Ebay Kleinanzeigen remains true to itself in the campaign in terms of fun and self-irony.

Iskra Velichkova, Head of C2C Marketing at Ebay Kleinanzeigen, gets to talking about the increasingly important idea of sustainability in connection with the new function:
“With the shipping function, we are offering another feature that many user:s would like to see. Many and especially higher-priced items are passed on even more frequently, which reinforces the positive effect in terms of ecological sustainability.”
The film was produced by n Christian Schilling (director) and Sterntag Film and can be seen throughout Germany on TV and digitally. In addition, there are photo or GIF visuals produced by the photographer collective “„allezhopp“.”
The campaign was launched on nationwide TV on March 18. Further digital measures will be added from March 24. jh
