Doing business in a flash: The Goodwins presents first brand campaign for Qonto
If you believe the commercials by Berlin-based creative agency The Goodwins, the often tiresome headache topics of bookkeeping, accounting and payment processes are the least of your problems when setting up your own company or meandering through the daily work routine as a self-employed person - provided you use Qonto. The financial services provider wants to quickly become better known in Germany with the new advertising partner and the cheeky brand campaign.
The agency The Goodwins is rolling out the appropriately cool campaign across TV, social media, digital channels and radio. The aim is to increase Qonto's brand awareness in Germany and stand out from the competition. Three 20-second TV commercials, various social media videos and motifs for OOH, social networks and print will be used. The films were directed by David Eilander and photographed by Janine Sametzky. The overall campaign was produced by Cndy Films from Hamburg.
“Germany is a core market for Qonto. With The Goodwins, we have found a partner that has a feel for local entrepreneurs and brings this together with our claim to provide them with optimal support in their financial management. Our campaign uniquely communicates our innovative solutions that give entrepreneurs more time for their business,” says Heidrun Luyt, Chief Growth Officer at Qonto. “We look forward to inspiring even more companies in Germany with Qonto with this campaign.”
The Goodwins had previously worked on projects for the financial services provider, which was founded in 2017 and is now the market leader with around 500,000 customers across Europe, offering solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises and the self-employed. “We are proud to have developed a campaign together with Qonto that unmistakably sets the brand apart from the competition in Germany. The campaign mechanics combine strong branding with relevant features and a good dose of entertainment - just: How Q is that?”, says Tim Stübane, Co-Founder and Partner Creation at The Goodwins. He also announces that further projects, including for the German market, are already in the works.
Based in Berlin, The Goodwins employs around 40 people and supports clients such as Deutsche Telekom, Kleinanzeigen, SMA Solar, MVV Energie, Denns BioMarkt, Voelkel and Rossmann.
