Black Friday has established itself in retail. Ebay Kleinanzeigen, however, is now countering with a new day: Green Sunday. A music video with the band TinTin promotes the brand's action.
In November, many discount promotions await customers. Ebay Kleinanzeigen now wants to set an example. And announces "the most sensible shopping day of the year": Green Sunday, which this year falls on 22 November and recurs immediately before the two days of the year with the highest consumption - Black Friday (27.11.2020) and Amazon's Cyber Monday (30.11.2020). On both days, many gadgets are sold, so the current flight of the sustainability offensive is also all about this area. However, Ebay Kleinanzeigen calls on people to trade secondhand.
In the current campaign „Lasst uns handeln!“ the brand wants to motivate everyone to advertise a used item in 2020, the first target was: 83 million things to pass on. Now the goal is to break the 120 million mark by the end of the year.
At the centre of the fourth flight is a music video that was specially produced for use on high-reach online channels. The band "TinTin" performs the song "Kreislauf der Dinge", which they created especially for the campaign.
The Goodwins are behind the creation. The artist casting and production of the song was done by Mokoh Music. The films used were produced by Commercial Film Service (CFS) and Streetsmart Media. Zoran Bihac, who is known for music videos of the Fantastischen Vier or Rammstein, was the director. Media planning and buying was done by Mediacom, Berlin. The landing page was developed by Moccu, Berlin. GUD Berlin contributed the social media extension of the campaign.
