ASC and MSC want to raise awareness of sustainable fish consumption

The two organizations Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) from Utrecht and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) based in London have decided on an agency for the joint campaign in September 2025. As announced in mid-March 2025, the creatives from The Goodwins in Berlin will be responsible for implementing the campaign for the “Check your fish!” week.

Throughout September 2025, ASC and MSC want to raise awareness of sustainable fish consumption among consumers from the DACH region, Belgium and the Netherlands. The measures are to be disseminated via social media as well as in the form of various campaign assets via participating partners in the food trade and food brands. Mirko Stolz, Managing Director Creation at The Goodwins, is responsible on the agency side.

The ASC and MSC are known for awarding seals that allow end consumers to quickly recognize whether seafood products are sustainable. The ASC promotes responsible fish farming, while the MSC focuses on sustainable fishing.
