Screws and anchors from Fischer are familiar to every craftsman. Now Fischer is promoting its new PowerFast II with a commercial in which the screw demonstrates its capabilities in an unusual way.
Actually, you would think, screws can hardly be improved. “Wrong”, thought the traditional company Fischer from Waldachtal-Tumlingen in Swabia, and with the PowerFast II developed a screw that can be screwed in particularly well and on top of that is supposed to hold equally well in both wood and dowels. The capabilities of the PowerFast II are demonstrated in a commercial developed and produced for Fischer by the Berlin agency The Goodwins.
The plot: a sporty craftsman screws together his own wooden obstacle course while racing against the clock. On the one hand, it is important that the PowerFast II is screwed in quickly and effortlessly using a cordless drill, and on the other hand, of course, that it fits tightly so that the craftsman does not fall off the climbing wall into the bottomless pit.
The Goodwins has already been working for Fischer for three years. The current spot is the latest result of the collaboration and part of a comprehensive content strategy with which The Goodwins aims to make the family business even better known, especially internationally. The target group for the current spot, which will initially be launched in the German and Scandinavian markets and then also played out in other European markets, are carpenters, joiners, woodworkers and, of course, private individuals who use their own tools at home. In addition to the spot, the campaign also includes social media and other digital measures. The wooden course was developed by Daniel Dreßen, whose company Camp Ramps develops courses for indoor skating and BMX bikes, for example, and also builds “Ninja obstacles” inspired by the TV show Ninja Warrior.
